Stage 2 Viewing Access

Stage 2 features the circuit race, with a total of eight and one half laps of an 8.5 mile loop in and around Vail Village. Each lap is estimated to take approximately 20 minutes to complete.

Great viewing can be attained virtually anywhere on the route, however, parking and access issues persist preventing convenient access to many of the routes residential areas. Local residents may be able to view the race from their neighborhoods while we encourage spectators and locals alike to view the race and festivities from Vail Village or Lionshead Village. Limited free parking is available in the Vail Village and Lionshead Parking Structures, however we encourage all spectators to utilize public transportation and the free bike valet.

All spectators must be in their viewing location at least 30 minutes prior to race arrival.

Recommended  Stage 2 Viewing Locations:

Stage 2 Start - Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic The Starting Line on Main Gore Drive in Vail Village will provide recommended spectator viewing. The start's close proximity to the Health & Lifestyle Expo is also noteworthy.
Stage 2 Finish - Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic The Finish Line near the Lionshead Parking Structure in Lionshead Village on E. Lionshead Circle will also provide recommended viewing access. This location will be exciting as it is also the Sprint Line for Stage 2 on alternating laps.
Stage 2 Sprint - Colorado Stage International Cycle Classic The Stage 2 Sprint Line is also located on E. Lionshead Circle near the Finish Line. The Finish Line/ Sprint Line will be an exciting Colorado Stage vantage point.
